Supervision and consultation

You may be a professional working in mental health, education, or social care - and may be interested in psychoanalytic psychotherapeutic supervision and/or consultation.
We are experienced in offering both clinical supervision and consultation to professional colleagues in a variety of roles and settings - in the UK and internationally.
A psychoanalytic approach to supervision and consultation offers a unique perspective and viewpoint.
In our experience, this has been most helpful for professionals and organisations who feel 'stuck' with a particular case or set of circumstances.
In some instances, meeting solely with you, and helping to gather together what is happening in your work, will be enough of an intervention. In other occasions, we may consult directly to your organisation. Or, if you are a mental health professional, we may suggest our conducting a 'State of Mind Assessment' of your client to provide a psychoanalytic perspective on established problems.
At Fellows Psychotherapy Practice, our ACP registered Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists are able to offer:
Complex assessments, including State of Mind Assessments (to help mental health, social care, and education professional colleagues better understand a child or young person’s specific needs).
Advice on network liaison in meeting a child or young person’s individual developmental needs.
Places on our online reading group and seminars on the subject of psychoanalytic theory and psychodynamic practice for professionals.
