About us
We are highly specialist psychoanalytic psychotherapists trained to doctoral level in the National Health Service. We teach on professional psychotherapy trainings, and tutor students who are learning. We are registered as fully qualified members of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP). Helena Whately
Helena has worked extensively with young people and families in the NHS, schools, and charity sector. This includes working with somatising disorders including medically unexplained symptoms and eating disorders at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), as well as supporting vulnerable adolescents and their families who are in crisis. Alongside working as an NHS Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist in Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS, Helena is a teacher and tutor on pre-clinical psychotherapy training at the Tavistock Clinic. Together with her colleagues at FPP, Helena offers a range of services.


Will Parkinson
Will has worked therapeutically with children and young people for over fifteen years - in the NHS, in schools, and in the third sector. His work focuses upon overcoming complex experiences of trauma, attachment difficulties, varieties of neurodiversity and disability, and challenging ways of relating. Will is particularly experienced in work with adolescents aged between 18-25. Alongside work with colleagues at FPP, Will is a Highly Specialist Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in a community CAMHS clinic and is a teacher and tutor on pre-clinical psychotherapy training and on an MSc at the BPF/Birkbeck, University of London.




Iva Ajder
Iva is a Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience in mental health. She has practiced extensively within the NHS where she also teaches, and has experience of working in schools, and third-sector organisations. Iva specialises in both in-depth and short-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy, with adolescents and young adults up to the age of 25. Her thoughtful, supportive approach provides a safe, non-judgmental space to foster deeper self-understanding and to build more meaningful lives. Together with her colleagues at FPP, Iva offers a range of services.
