About us

We are highly specialist psychoanalytic psychotherapists trained to doctoral level in the National Health Service (NHS). We work as clinicians in community health settings. We teach on professional psychotherapy trainings, and tutor students who are learning. We are registered as fully qualified members of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP). Dr. Mischa Resnick

Mischa is a Senior Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with Westminster NHS CAMHS and Associate Lecturer with Tavistock Education and Training. He has extensive experience working therapeutically with children,adolescents, young adults, parents and families, as well as consulting with professional networks and supporting the professional development of others. His approach fosters psychological development, helping young people and their families cultivate more fulfilling ways of relating, promoting insight and reflection into challenges and difficulties. He integrates the rigour of psychoanalytic approach with the playfulness and creativity involved in working with children and young people.

Dr. Will Parkinson

Will has worked therapeutically with children and young people for over fifteen years - in the NHS, in schools, and in the third sector. His work focuses upon overcoming complex experiences of early trauma, attachment difficulties, varieties of neurodiversity, and emotional difficulties. Will is particularly experienced in work with adolescents, up to the age of 25. Alongside work with colleagues at FPP, Will is a Highly Specialist Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in a community CAMHS clinic and is a lecturer and tutor on pre-clinical psychotherapy training at Tavistock Education and Training (TET). He has also taught on an MSc Psychodynamics of Human Development at the BPF/Birkbeck, University of London.

Dr. Iva Ajder

Iva is a Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience in mental health. She has practiced extensively within the NHS where she also teaches, and has experience of working in schools, and third-sector organisations. Iva specialises in both in-depth and short-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy, with adolescents and young adults up to the age of 25. Her thoughtful, supportive approach provides a safe, non-judgmental space to foster deeper self-understanding and to build more meaningful lives. Together with her colleagues at FPP, Iva offers a range of services.

Dr. Helena Whately

Helena has worked extensively with young people and families in the NHS, schools, and charity sector. This includes working with somatising disorders including medically unexplained symptoms and eating disorders at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), as well as supporting vulnerable adolescents and their families who are in crisis. Alongside working in an NHS Community CAMHS setting, Helena is a teacher and tutor on pre-clinical psychotherapy training at the Tavistock Clinic. Together with her colleagues at FPP, Helena offers a range of services.
